The machine tool especially a boring or milling machine has its five automatically controlled axes readily accessible and visible to the operator attending the machine intermittently. Access to the working spindle and workpiece is ensured and chip removing is facilitated. The machine tool working spindle (3) is adjacent and parallel to the machine bed (1). The workpiece carrier (12) is placed beside the machine bed on the same side as the working spindle. The chip removing system (6) or its collection and transporting elements are also arranged adjacent and preferably parallel to the machine bed. The workpiece (9) holding surface of the workpiece carrier (12) can be rotated about a vertical axis (11).

The invention relates to a machine tool industry, namely to metal-cutting machine tools designed to machine parts from several sides.
A horizontal processing machine is known, comprising a stand, a spindle head mounted on it with guides for translational movement parallel to the tool spindle axis, a fixture for securing the workpiece, mounted for rotation around a horizontal axis, perpendicular to the spindle axis, a device that provides a relative variable - spindle spindles and fixtures for securing the workpiece in the vertical direction, a device for removing chips from the treatment area (Germany application No. 265 3928, class B 23 B 39/02 off 01 .06.78).
The disadvantages of the known machine are the lack of machining of parts on five sides, as well as the absence of a transporting device for chip removal.
The purpose of the invention is to expand the technological capabilities of the machine while ensuring the effectiveness of chip removal, as well as simplifying maintenance.
To achieve this goal, a horizontal processing machine with a frame, a spindle head mounted on it with directions for translational movement parallel to the tool spindle axis, a fixture for fixing the workpiece that can be rotated around the horizontal axis, perpendicular spindle axis, a device that provides for relative movement of the spindle, and devices for securing the workpiece in the vertical direction; a device for removing chips from the area o processing, fixture for securing the workpiece is installed with the possibility of additional rotation around an axis located in the vertical plane parallel to the axis of rotation of the spindle.
The chip remover is designed as a conveyor located along the spindle.

The machine comprises a frame 1, and with the possibility of translational movement parallel to the axis of the spindle 3 of the tool, the spindle head 2 is installed with guides. The spindle 3 is mounted on the slide 4, ensuring its movement in the vertical direction.
On the frame 1 with the possibility of translational movement in a horizontal plane, perpendicular to the axis of the pinch 3, a carriage 5 is installed, carrying a device 6 for securing the workpiece 7.
A rotary table 8 is mounted on the carriage 5, on which the fixture 6 is mounted to secure the workpiece 7 or the workpiece 7. The turntable 8 rotates the fixture 6 or the workpiece 7 around the horizontal axis 9, perpendicular to the spindle 3. On the fixture 6 there is a rotary table 10, providing the possibility of rotation of the workpiece relative to the axis 11, located in a vertical plane parallel to the axis of rotation of the spindle 3.
Along the spindle 3 parallel to the frame 1 there is a chip removal device, made in the form of a conveyor 12.
The machine allows processing of the workpiece installed in the tool holder, from five sides. At the same time, due to the rotation of the machine elements around the axes 9 and 11, the workpiece 7 is constantly positioned relative to the spindle 3 during machining so that the workpiece surface is always in a vertical plane. As a result, chips come under the force of gravity into the chip remover, without clogging the table of the fixture for securing the workpiece, which simplifies the maintenance of the machine.
